Your carrier cannot force you to have surgery to “prove” your disability. That being said, the carrier can easily try to make the argument that although you do have the condition it does not raise to a level that would prevent you from working in any occupation (I presume part of the 2 year period you reference). Beyond the Tarsal Tunnel it is very important that you provide information to the carrier regarding the MS for review.
